FreedomFest Taste of Long Island Festival and Street Fair

While in town for the Catholic Health Services’ 2nd Annual Suffolk County Marathon, Half-Marathon, and 5k, we hope you will take advantage of all Suffolk County has to offer, including our world famous, vacation-destination beaches and our award-winning wines and craft brews. But for those who can’t experience it all, we’re bringing the best of Suffolk straight to you. The FreedomFest Taste of Long Island Festival will begin at 9:00am, shortly before our first Half Marathoners will finish, and will take place right in the heart of downtown Patchogue. The event will feature live musical entertainment and will highlight our local craft breweries, award winning wines, and local food and produce. Free tastings will be given to all race participants.

The Taste of Long Island Festival is being made possible with the support and partnership with New York State, Patchogue Village, the Patchogue Chamber of Commerce, the Long Island Wine Council, the Long Island Farm Bureau, the Long Island Music Hall of Fame, The Long Island Convention and Visitor's Bureau, and Project 9 Line.

Family Fun

Thanks to the involvement of the Patchogue Chamber of Commerce and other partners, the FreedomFest Taste of Long Island Festival will feature activities for the entire family.

Interested in Being a Vendor at the Taste of Long Island Festival?

With 3,500 runners for its inaugural year, the Catholic Health Services’ 2nd Annual Suffolk County Marathon, Half Marathon, 5k, and FreedomFest is expected to draw approximately 10,000 visitors and 5,000 runners.

It is important to County Executive Steve Bellone that the Catholic Health Services’ 2nd Annual Suffolk County Marathon is used to highlight and celebrate our world-renowned local food and agriculture. The FreedomFest Taste of Long Island Festival is a unique opportunity to show the world the incredibly diverse collection of food and drink options available across Suffolk County. In that effort, your participation is essential! To celebrate the entire breadth of Suffolk County produce and agri-tourism options, we are looking for vendors to host both tastings and sales of their unique offerings.

There will be access to clean, potable water but if you need electricity, you will need to provide your own generators. Lot sizes are 10’ x 10’.

If you are interested in participating in the FreedomFest Taste of Long Island Festival, please fill-in and send all below forms with proof of insurance to the Recreation and Economic Development Corporation of Suffolk County.

Thank you for your interest and participation. We look forward to seeing you on October 30th!
